Exempla Takes on Management of the European Battery Recycling Association

Exempla has taken on he day-to-day management of the European Battery Recycling Association (EBRA), overseeing operational coordination and contributing to the association’s continued development. EBRA is a European industry association representing stakeholders across the battery recycling value chain and promoting the safe, efficient and sustainable recycling of batteries in Europe.

Exempla will work closely with the EBRA Board to manage day-to-day operations, communications and member coordination. In addition, Exempla will focus on strengthening key governance processes to support the association’s long-term effectiveness and organisational development.

For public affairs activities, Exempla will collaborate with a technical expert from within the EBRA community, ensuring continued sector expertise and strong alignment with industry priorities.

The transition is supported operationally by Michiel Gen and Bénédicte Losseau, who serve as key contact points for EBRA members and the board.

In addition to taking on the day-to-day management of the association, Exempla also successfully organised and delivered EBRA’s Annual General Meeting on 30 April 2026, ensuring a smooth and productive gathering for members and leadership.

With extensive experience in supporting international associations and industry communities, Exempla looks forward to working closely with EBRA members and partners to further advance battery recycling, sustainability and the circular economy in Europe.
